2012 Election: Ryan Budget Survey

As the nation's largest Tea Party group, we want to know what you think about Gov. Romney's choice, and specifically Paul Ryan's budget. Do you think his plan represents a step towards saving America from insolvency? Does it go far enough? Or is he barking up the wrong proverbial tree?

Paul Ryan is most well known for the "Ryan Plan" which balances the budget by cutting government spending. Do you support the "Ryan Plan?"

 
 
 

Under the "Ryan Plan," the current unsustainable Medicare system would add a voucher option allowing participants to purchase private insurance. Do you support this change to Medicare?

 
 
 

Under the "Ryan Plan," Medicaid would be converted into block grants to be allocated to the states. The states would have the flexibility of designing their own programs. Do you support this shift of power from the federal government to the states?

 
 
 

In April of 2011, the House of Representatives passed the "Ryan Plan" with a vote of 235 to 193. However, the Senate voted down the plan with a vote of 57 to 40. In the upcoming election, would you vote for a Senator who voted against the "Ryan Plan?"
